An easy loop over the heath on North Head, past the memorial walk and lookouts that face straight back at the city. Echidnas and long nosed bandicoots live here, and wildflowers cover the heath in spring.
Good to know: mostly flat and around four kilometres, with parking and a cafe at the Sanctuary.
