Privacy policy
The short version: we collect almost nothing, and we never sell or share what we have.
Earth to Sea News is published by NKTM Enterprise Pty Ltd, trading as Earth to Sea News, in Australia. This page explains what information we hold and why, in plain language.
The newsletter
When you subscribe, we collect your email address, and your name if you give it. It is stored securely with Ghost, the service that runs our website and sends our newsletter, and it is used for one thing only: sending you the editions you signed up for. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email, or by writing to us, and your address is removed.
Analytics
We use two privacy friendly counters, Ghost analytics and Clicky, to see how many people visit and which stories they read. Neither uses advertising cookies, follows you around the internet, or identifies you personally.
Tips
If you kindly give once or become a supporter, the payment is handled entirely by Stripe, our payment processor. Your card details go straight to them and we never see or store them. We keep your name, email and a record of the payment so we can thank you, manage your support and send the newsletter. Supporters who ask for their name on the website are named only with their say so, and business supporters are shown by the name, logo and link they give us.
What we never do
We do not sell, rent or share your details with anyone. We do not run advertising trackers. We only hold what you have given us, and only for as long as you want us to have it.
Questions
